Welcome to A Student’s Guide to Web Design

After long hours of work, research, designing and development, we are extremely excited to announce we are FINALLY live.

Who are we?

Being a recent college graduate, I discovered a gap in what I was learning in the classroom and what the design industry was really like. I discovered that there simply wasn’t enough information being provided for design students in the form of real-life skills; that’s where we come in.

Many of you have been following this project for some time now and may already understand who we are what we are trying to accomplish. For those who don’t, we are a community dedicated to providing web design students with the information they need to be successful after graduation in their careers and lives. Since college is such a wonderful opportunity for those fortunate enough to go, we want to facilitate students in their search for success both during and after graduation. Our aim is to present information in a way that is developmental towards your journey as a well-rounded, sharpened designer and individual.

Never stop learning because the moment you stop learning is the moment you become obsolete. – Joshua Brewer

What are we trying to accomplish?

Ultimately, our goal is to not only help web design students cope with their struggles, but to elevate design education at the post-secondary level. We want students to be confident in themselves as the pursue their career options because these students are the future of the industry; and we need to make that investment.

How can you participate?

Our website provides students with high quality content, resources and materials as a way to give back to the design community. We care deeply about the information we post and are passionate about helping students reach their potential. If you want to help, please visit our Contribute page and contact us.

Follow us and share our story

Remember to please follow us through Twitter and Facebook. We are also currently holding a fundraising campaign through IndieGoGo and if you are able to contribute financially to our cause, it is greatly appreciated.
